Prelado de Los Tesoros de La Purísima has been a proud partner with California State Parks since 1973. Funds raised through membership help pay for docent training, materials for school programs both in person and virtual, feed and care for the animals as well as preservation projects and building restoration. To preserve and protect the most restored mission in California we encourage you to become a member.

Many members are making one-of-a-kind handcrafted items for sale in our Tienda. They are sold as gifts or souvenirs. Other members have a knack with needle and thread; they make the costumes for our re-enactors and period linens.

Thousands of school children throughout California and visitors from around the world come to La Purísima Mission State Historic Park every year. They gain an appreciation for the cultures that influence us today, the legacy of the Chumash Indians and European explorers and immigrants that helped to establish our State and community.

General contributions provide the best possible care for animals, maintain enclosures, gardens, and support of educational and interpretive programs in the park. Prelado welcomes your generous gift in any amount.
